Book Services for Seniors
We are pleased to offer a monthly visit
to Bayside, Lakeview Garden and Royal Manor.
A staff member takes a selection of material to each of these places on a
three week rotation. Residents may choose from the books staff has selected
for them or other available books. These items can be kept until the next
visit. Requests for authors, titles and subjects will be noted and we try to fulfill these requests. Any
of the residents who are members may also phone the library at any time to ask for specific
books to be
reserved for them. When the book becomes available, it is set aside for the
next visit.
On going sale in basement:
Hard covers: $.50 or 3 for $1.00
Paperbacks $.25 or 6 for $1.00
Magazines $.10 and videos $.50
Donations of books and movies greatly appreciated. We reserve the right to add them to our collection or offer them for sale with the money being used to purchase new books. Charitable Receipt available for cash donations.
